The Five

Five oils, kept separate. Each does something different to a room.

Lavender

Lavandula angustifolia
Soft, powdery, faintly sweet. The one most people already know. For the last hour before bed.

Jasmine

Jasminum
Heavy, floral, close. A small amount fills a room and stays there. Use less than you think you need.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus globulus
Bright, cool, opens the room. Sharp enough to notice the moment it hits the air.

Tea Tree

Melaleuca alternifolia
Clean, sharp, medicinal-green. The most astringent of the five.

Lemongrass

Cymbopogon citratus
Citrus with a grassy edge underneath. Lighter than lemon, less sweet than orange.

Three to five drops in an ultrasonic diffuser. One to two drops diluted in a carrier oil for topical use. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
